Liese Mészár, Viola

Liese Mészár had her first violin lesson when she was four. Her most important teacher in her youth was Riza Yildiz (Karlsruhe). She later studied with Tanja Becker-Bender and David Grimal in Saarbrücken and with Sebastian Hamann in Lucerne.

Other important influences were Ivri Gitlis, Isabel Charisius, Isabelle van Keulen, Igor Ozim, Igor Karsko und Guiliano Carmignola.

Since 2011 she has been living in Switzerland where she also discovered her passion for the Viola. In 2014 she started playing the viola in the newly founded Kubus Quartet.

 

She is also very active in different Orchestras and Ensembles such as the 21st Century Orchestra, Ensemble Montaigne, Ensemble “ö”, the Lucerne Chamber Orchestra, “Zuger Sinfonietta”, the Orchestra of the “Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern” and the “Philharmonie Baden-Baden”.

 

She is teaching in different music schools in Switzerland.
